tiksuper Portal Updates

Shopify API Update

All Shopify users will be required to update their Shopify permissions within the tiksuper portan NO LATER THAN 31 JANUARY 2023 in order to avoid service disruptions.

To update your permissions, please log in to your account and navigate to “Account Management > Integrations > Shopify”.

Once there, please click on the “Re-Authorize” button. This will enable us to obtain the permissions required by the updated API.

Please note that if you do not update your permissions by January 31st, 2023, we will not be able to mark your orders as fulfilled.

Changes to Bulk Upload Format

Effective 31 January 2023, the tiksuper portal will no longer be supporting XLS file format for bulk uploads. Instead, we will be transitioning to the XLSX format.

This change is being made to ensure that we are providing the most up-to-date and efficient service possible. The XLSX format allows a larger data capacity and is more compatible with newer software.

Please note that all templates and links on our website have been updated to reflect this change. If you have any templates or links saved on your computer, we recommend that you update them as soon as possible.

Introducing Fraud Protection for Shopify Store Owners

Keep your goods safe and sound during the holiday peak and avoid the risk of delayed chargebacks thanks to tiksuper’s portal’s new proactive fraud protection feature.

Your portal can now automatically sync alerts of potential fraudulent orders from your Shopify store and you can also manage fraudulent orders directly within the portal.

As an extra precaution to keep your goods in safe hands — if you’ve got auto-approve orders turned on, when a potentially fraudulent order is received by the portal, the order will automatically be put on hold and you’ll be notified that the order needs your attention.

To get secure, simply switch on this feature under your Shopify integrations page.

As of today, any Shopify storeowner using tiksuper’s portal can minimize their overheads and empower their customers to make appropriate shipping decisions for themselves thanks to this new brand-new feature.

What’s new?

You can now show your Shopify storefront customers a range of real-time shipping options at checkout from across our 100+ network of international and domestic carriers — all from within your tiksuper portal. You’ll no longer have to spend time researching international shipping costs, manually entering estimated flat rates for each item for everywhere you ship ever again.

Why do I need it?

By enabling this feature at checkout, your Shopify customers can now select from real-time shipping options and prices based on their order’s weight, package dimensions, and shipping destinations — empowering your customers to take control of their preferred delivery method.

Who’s it for?

This feature is included for all Shopify storefront owners and seamlessly integrates with tiksuper’s other powerful automated tools including shipping document generation meaning your order will get to where it needs to, however your customers choose.

You can easily establish a range of customizable shipping options from across our network of carriers giving your customers access to greater savings when shipping anywhere in the world. To get started, ensure that your products all have their proper weights listed in their description to get the most accurate rates.

You can also opt to continue using your existing flat-rate settings without enabling this feature if that’s what you prefer.

Automation Rule Enhancement

  • Automation rule options are now available, which further enhance the flexibility of SKUrelated settings and overall automation flow.
  • Automation rule option to auto-select a courier based on the shortest delivery time from a set of couriers.
  • Automation rule to ship from the different warehouse in a case of out of stock at one warehouse.


Clients now have the option of selecting their preferred currency for displaying values of the order items on Cl and AWB. Currencies that are not supported by the courier will be shown in USD.

Mar 22 | Cancelled and Refund Order Sync For Shopify

tiksuper system now supports syncing of Cancel/ Partial Refund SKU’s from Shopify for orders in Pending approval state.

This feature allows modifying and syncing the order automatically in the tiksuper system if the order is canceled or partially refunded in Shopify.

Service Updates – Singapore Goods & Service Tax (GST)

Effective 1 January 2023, there will be new Goods and Service Tax (GST) regulations enforced by The Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS). Please find the details of the upcoming changes below for your reference:

GST Rate Increase

The IRAS has announced that the GST rate will rise from 7% to 8%.

New GST Rules (OVR – Overseas Vendor Registration)

The Singaporean Tax Authorities will implement new GST rules for those ecommerce platforms* (Overseas Vendors) who fulfill BOTH of the below criteria:

  1. Global sales turnover exceeding SGD 1 million per year; and
  2. Sales of Low Value Goods (under SGD400) to Singapore exceeding SGD 100,000 per year.

If you believe that you qualify based on the aforementioned criteria, you will need to follow the below steps:

  1. Submit an application for an Oversea Vendor GST registration number;
  2. Collect GST on Low Value Goods (under SGD400) during the transaction; and
  3. Return filing and payment to Singapore Tax Authorities on a periodic basis.

*ecommerce platforms (Overseas Vendor) are defined as those who sell to individuals in Singapore via an online platform and ship by post or air to the individuals in Singapore.
